Positive Thinking alone is a waste of time.

The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale is one of my favourite books. It is one of the first “self-help” books that I ever read. I can still remember the day my aunt gave it to me and I’ve read it multiple times.

Positive thinking is vital to attaining anything that you want in life. But it is not enough.

Why do I say that? Simple answer…

Do you know anyone that KNOWS about the Law of Attraction, TALKS about the Law of Attraction, but has not actually MANIFESTED anything?

That is because there is much more to attracting the things you want in life than just thinking about it and wanting it.
Your willpower only lasts for so long. Then life comes back in and has a funny way of making us forget about our dreams and desires (Been there!)…

So how do you stay on track, or as Esther/Abraham Hicks says, stay in line with what you want to manifest?

There are 3 additional “Positives” that will take you where you want to go.

Positive SAYING

Start speaking positively. And not just when you feel good. Start the day by saying what you are grateful for while you are in the shower. Stay away from gossip. If you don’t have anything nice to say…you remember the rest. Make every word that comes out of your mouth a positive one. (I’m working on that!)

Positive DOING

It is not an accident that “Action” is in the word “Attraction”. If you Wish, Hope, and Think, but never DO anything more, you will never HAVE anything more. Start by taking action on small things. Read daily. Join that class you have been thinking of taking. Start that blog, even if you think no one will read it. Update your resume. Do SOMETHING. Stay busy. A rolling stone gathers no moss. Stay in Action.

Positive WRITING
Start writing down your goals. Brian Tracy, author of Maximum Achievement, outlines that people acquire what they think about most of the time. Writing your goals on a daily basis (or typing them on your phone) keeps them in your mind. Your subconscious mind acts on them and multiplies the power that they have. Here is a key point when writing your goals: do not worry about the HOW as you are writing. Just keep doing it.

Think. Say. Do. Write.

That is how you multiply the Power of Positive Thinking.

So what are YOU thinking about?
